The UNICORE Forum is an open, non-profit association which promotes the development and distribution of the UNICORE GRID system. Membership is open to users and developers of GRID software as well as to hardware vendors.

Java Parallel Processing Framework (JPPF)

Java Parallel Processing Framework is a computational grid framework for Java, focused on performance and ease of use. It provides a set of extensible and customizable tools and APIs to facilitate the parallelization of CPU intensive applications, and distribute their execution over a network of heterogenous nodes.

Java SE Real-Time

The Sun Java Real-Time System (Java RTS) is the first conformant commercial implementation of Java Specification Request (JSR) -001, the Real-Time Specification for Java (RTSJ). Java RTS enables developers of real-time applications to take full advantage of the Java language ecosystem while maintaining the predictability of current real-time development platforms. This means real-time and non-real-time components can coexist and share data on a single system. Java RTS also brings real-time programming to developers who use Java technology to create applications that reach into the physical world. Carbonado

Carbonado is an extensible, high performance persistence abstraction layer for Java applications, providing a relational view to the underlying persistence technology. Persistence can be provided by a JDBC accessible SQL relational database, or it can be a BDB. It can also be fully replicated between the two.
